The Senior Business and Systems Analyst functions as a liaison between I.T. Enterprise Configuration staff, other I.T. staff, and Operations/business clients and is responsible for
- Creating and appropriately updating systems operation and user documentation, process and workflow diagrams, procedures, policies, and related materials and ensuring that they are housed in the designated repository (e.g., Compliance360, toolkits, etc.)
- Evaluating processes from a compliance perspective and identifying, recommending, and facilitating the implementation of related improvements (including, but not limited to, audit and quality control points, high impact processes where remediation will provide maximum benefits, etc.)
- Preparing related technical and analytical work (including, but not limited to, strategic analyses, research, etc.) within established policies, procedures, and guidelines to support organizational and departmental initiatives and projects
- Gathering and defining requirements and documenting project efforts
- Collaborating cross-functionally regarding processes, enhancements, analyses, etc. and to help ensure that changes are thoroughly tested
- Facilitating related cross-functional meetings to help ensure timely, appropriate communication of implementations, enhancements, etc.

The Senior Business and Systems Analyst also works closely with Project Managers, Project Specialists, and Business Relationship staff to support enterprise projects and initiatives and related deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma

Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field

EXPERIENCE
Required:
With High School Diploma: 10+ years experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating workflow processes, policies, and procedures (including performing root cause analysis of problem areas and recommending well thought-out recommendations for improvement) and working with managed healthcare data and solid understanding of data analysis methodologies.

Expertise in working with technical resources in a healthcare setting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong leadership, team-building, customer service, and presentation skills

Preferred:
With Associate's Degree: At least 7 years experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating workflow processes, policies, and procedures (including performing root cause analysis of problem areas and recommending well thought-out recommendations for improvement) and working with managed healthcare data and solid understanding of data analysis methodologies.

With Bachelor's Degree: At least 5-7 years experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating workflow processes, policies, and procedures (including performing root cause analysis of problem areas and recommending well thought-out recommendations for improvement) and working with managed healthcare data and solid understanding of data analysis methodologies.
