Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and organizational goals. The position will drive and consult as needed with leadership team, business owners and other key stakeholders to develop and manage planning, prioritization, timelines, metrics/scorecards, budgets, ROI analysis, and working agreements for MCLA Initiatives. Work with management to identify and implement varied products, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit goals and objectives that align with and support enterprise strategic directions.

Duties

Drive concept development, design, feasibility and definition of MCLA product initiatives while managing the ongoing evolution and strategic direction of the MCLA product.

Lead efforts to identify best practices. Identify impacted parties, business partners, and resources required. Develops and designs processes and product requirements that support business needs. Designs methods for integrating function and processes including applicable dependencies inclusive of Core Business Transformation work team initiatives.

Act as business owner and/or subject matter expert within cross-functional teams to support organizational departments, identify stakeholders and ensure decisions are made that support the strategic direction of the organization. Recognize opportunities to lead in matrix environment and through PACE methodology where appropriate.

Serve as primary contact for MCLA product initiatives with early engagement in any project proposal or planning. Ensure appropriate project review, approval and participation from key stakeholders. Identify potential risks, project charge, and scope. Design appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. Drive due diligence and requirement analysis required for roadmap creation, scope and execution for enhancements and/or project implementations.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Required:

With Bachelor's Degree: 5 years of relevant experience in product marketing.

Working knowledge of the company’s healthcare products, functions and regulatory guidelines.

Preferred:

With Master's Degree: 3 years of relevant experience in product marketing.

Working knowledge of the company’s healthcare products, functions and regulatory guidelines.

Equivalent Experience:

With High School Diploma/GED: 10 years of relevant experience in product marketing.

With Associate's Degree: 7 years of relevant experience in product marketing.

Required:

Requires deep knowledge of product development life cycle (PDLC) discipline.

Must be familiar with regulatory guidelines governing product lines; leads regulatory filing process for new/custom product initiatives.

Able to use advanced features of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Visio and Access.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Ability to serve as member on cross-functional implementation or project teams.

Ability to interpret data sets and forecast future revenue streams.
