Job Summary

The Enterprise Resource Planning Analyst II is responsible for the functional aspects of an integrated private cloud based solution for Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP), Business Suites 4 SAP HANA (S/4 HANA), Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD). This position will document the business processes and requirements, review the functional specifications and application design documents, write/execute test plans, coordinate/perform unit, integration, regression testing in the assigned areas. This position will work closely with the LAC's SAP team and various business groups to ensure the business requirements are completely documented and properly implemented.


Communicate and collaborate with business at all levels to understand and analyze their needs and deliver documents such as business case analysis, work flow diagrams, functional and business specifications.


Drive, challenge and collaborate with business groups to adopt Enterprise Resources Planning  (ERP) standard processes and reduce customizations.


Create business process procedures for business areas that are impacted by new functions and features introduced in SAP FS-CD.

Responsible for some configuration tasks of FS-CD this requires close collaboration with other functional  analysts responsible for other modules within SAP ERP such as Financial Accounting Controlling (FI/CO).


Responsible to analyze the issue/data, perform root cause analysis and collaborate with other teams  to resolve issues related to FS-CD Module ( Billing and Disbursement).


Responsible to conduct training on the newly implemented functions within FSCD modules.


Responsible to conduct or receive  training to be a back-up for other ERP SAP functions/modules.


Coordinate with each application business owners for user testing, for all the changes that are introduced to production environments for Billing or Disbursement areas.


Act as the liaison between Business Billing, technology teams and other business groups to resolve issues or improve cross functions processes.


Partner with SAP Basis and impacted business groups in testing patches and support packs updates that affect SAP FS-CD module.


Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Education Preferred


At least 5-7 years of business experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Experience of at least 1 full lifecycle SAP FS-CD implementation in the Healthcare Industry.


Demonstrated experience and understanding of the ACA exchange, the LACC enrollments, restrictions and related Cover California rules and regulations.


Experience with FSCD and its integration with QNXT (Enrollments or Claims payments).


Experience in gathering, analyzing and document required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.


Knowledge and experience of LA Care's  LACC Billing and related functions  in SAP and the integration between QNXT and SAP or FS-CD Disbursement.


Knowledge and demonstrated experience in analyzing issues and resolving's issues related to LACC/LACCD Billing or FS-CD Disbursement.


Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development.


Knowledge of QNXT as well as  the data and functions that integrated with SAP FS-CD.

Ability to write SQL and perform data analysis to resolve data/process issue.


Knowledge of QNXT key functions related to Enrollments or Disbursements (Providers, Claims).


Ability to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for FS-CD Billing/Disbursement issues.


Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Assignment specifics:

Assigned area includes but is not limited to Billing.
Responsible for the design and configurations of the Billing functions within FS-CD and FI/CO modules within SAP.

Responsible for the design and configurations of the Disbursement functions within FS-CD and FI/CO modules within SAP.
