Job Summary


The Enterprise Resource Planning Data and Report Analyst II is to serve as a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning data and report analyst within the Systems, Applications and Product in Data Processing (SAP) team to support the data analysis and reporting needs of various departments within LAC's finance organization.

 

This role will serve as liaison between various groups within finance and  the SAP High Performance Analytic Appliance) HANA reporting team. The key functions of this role are: Gathering reporting requirements; Creating/maintaining  internal, external, regulatory reports and dashboards with data from different sources; Creating/ Maintaining finance data governance structure to organize, analyze,  interpret and present the data in a unified and consistent manner.

Duties

Gather, organize, interpret, present operational and financial data from variety of sources such as SAP HANA, QNXT and other external and internal data sources to help the organization improving the quality of service, lowering the cost of care and enhancing members/providers experience.


 
Analyze healthcare insurance related data (Memberships, Providers, Claims, Capitations) to find pattern and trends to assist management in decision making process.

 

Automate/Develop/Maintain internal and external reports required by LAC's finance organization- maintaining management-level dashboards. 

 

Collaborate with other departments within LAC to devise  process to enhance/improve the data quality that are coming from core systems to SAP such as: QNXT, Membership MIU, Provider PDU.  

 

Develop and implement data governance structure to support the data analysis and reporting needs of various departments within LAC's finance organization.

 

Create training materials and conduct user-training classes when new SAP features or functions  are introduced in the reporting/analytics area.

 

Coordinate with business users on testing-  Analyze the changes delivered by SAP, determining the impact on data and reporting, devising appropriate testing/execution plans.

 

Act  as the liaison between Finance, IT teams and other business groups on maters related to data analytics and reports (membership, providers, claims, finance).

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Related Field
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience

Required:
At least 5-7 years of experience working with SAP HANA studio and Business Object reporting.

 

Advance SQL experience in a data analytic environment including the use of statistical analysis techniques in business intelligence application environment.

 

Experience and knowledge of reporting platform such as Business Objects, MS Access, Crystal).

 

Preferred:
Knowledge and experience of data modeling with health care and Finance data

Skills


Required:
Strong understanding of models, data sources, memberships, providers, claims, capitation and shared risk and revenue cycle.

 

Strong Collaboration and communication skills to facilitate discussions within and across teams.

 

In-depth knowledge in statistical model building and concepts, decisions trees, classification rules.

 

Knowledge of the following Software Packages: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

 

Knowledge and demonstrated experience with finance and operational data in Healthcare Industry.

 

Ability to conduct in-depth analysis in areas of focus.

 

Ability to analyze, consolidate Finance/Operation data for reporting.

 

Ability to troubleshoot operation of software and make recommendations to improve functionality.

 

Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
