The Senior Advisor - Quality Assurance Compliance assists in the development and advancement of the Quality Assurance (QA) Program of the Compliance Department's Audit Services group..  The Senior Advisor - Quality Assurance implements administrative and procedural activities to support and help ensure the Audit Services  group meets their standards and requirements, including whether directions from the Internal Compliance Committee have been implemented.  The Senior Advisor - Quality Assurance performs QA and other reviews, makes written observations and recommendations, validates implementation, serves as a resource to the Audit Services group regarding best practices, and deploys needed training.  The Senior Advisor - Quality Assurance maintains up-to-date knowledge of QA management practices and conducts training as needed.  The position may conduct special projects as requested by the Senior Director of Audit Services, including Compliance Department-wide QA initiatives as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health

EXPERIENCE
Required:
With Bachelor's Degree: At least 5 years of health care related experience in project management, operations, compliance, or combination of the foregoing, which may include designing, implementing programs, policies and practices.

With Associate's Degree: At least 7 years of health care related experience in project management, operations, compliance, or combination of the foregoing, which may include designing, implementing programs, policies and practices.

With High School Diploma: At least 10 years of health care related experience in project management, operations, compliance, or combination of the foregoing, which may include designing, implementing programs, policies and practices.

Strong PC skills; Proficient in use of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and related software applications, including Word and Excel.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to manage and analyze data.

Strong organizational and planning skills, including flexibility to handle multiple assignments, changing priorities, and compressed deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including to senior management.

Functions well in team and matrixed work environment, collaborating effectively with team members and other departments.
