Job Summary

As a member of the I.T. Operations and Infrastructure team, the Lead Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Administrator is a leading contributor providing direction and mentoring to other SOA Administrator team members. The work is non-routine and highly complex, involving the application of advanced technical /business skills.  The incumbent can expect a very fast paced environment, requiring extensive hands on experience with managing Oracle SOA Suite Infrastructure platform. The Integration Platform consists of 12c versions of Oracle SOA Suite, Service Bus, BAM and B2B. This role requires close collaboration with various internal teams (Development, QA, DBA, PM, SQL DBAs, Oracle DBAs, Sys Admins and Network Engineers etc.) to progress new projects to successfully go-live on Oracle's SOA Suite platform, support lower (non-prod) environments development/testing activities and provide production support. It is a hands-on role requiring the skills to install, configure, support and maintain Production and non Production environments. This position will establish and apply best practices, to ensure successful implementation of Middleware applications through collaborative project team communication, documentation and defect resolution.  

Duties

Installation and Configuration of Oracle SOA Suite 12c in HA environments. 

 

Configuration of High Availability Clusters in SOA Suite 12c for SOA B2B OSB and BAM components. 

 

Performance Tuning of Oracle WebLogic Server and SOA Suite components Weblogic. 

 

Building and Managing Monitoring framework for SOA platform, preferably with OEM 13c and Operating Ssystem scripts.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience

Required:
A minimum of 6-8 years administering Oracle Fusion Middleware/Integration Platform Administration experience. Preferably between 5-6 years with primary focus on 12c versions of Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, BAM, B2B, OHS, Weblogic. Experience with Cloud integration and/or 2-3 years in a leadership role would be a huge plus.

 

Minimum 5 years of experience technical (installation, configuration, administration, implementation, integration, automation and performance tuning) support for production Oracle SOA Suite environments.

 

Extensive experience with environment build, automation, deployment, monitoring, capacity planning, backup and recovery, patching, and DR focusing on Oracle SOA Products.  

 

Experience with SCM and build automation using tools such as TFS, Git/Github and Jenkins etc. Configuration Management tools such as Chef/Puppet/Ansible. Familiar with containers, docker and related technologies. 

 

Experience with Securing APIs, Web Services, Composites and Middleware Infrastructure.

 

Experience with 24x7 On Call/Production support, creating documentation such as RCAs, runbooks etc., familiar with Change & Release Management processes.

 

Specific High Availability experience and production support and operations maintenance.

 

Preferred: 
Experience leading teams in the development of services software.

 

Prior healthcare insurance payer experience.

 

Experience in working with EDI and B2B, OSB as gateway.

 

Experience working with ORACLE 10g/11g/12c RDBMS and MS SQL Server.

 

Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies with 3rd party applications and databases.

 

Experience installing, configuring, and utilizing Continuous Integration tools and technologies, including Maven, Ant, Hudson, Jenkins, and Git.

 

Cloud Integration experience is a big plus.

Exposure to Cloud Applications Administration like Salesforce and SAP is a Big Plus.
