Job Summary
The Lead WebLogic Administrator is responsible in leading the team of Middleware Administrators and providing oversight in all aspects of systems design, implementation, troubleshooting, and administration within the Oracle WebLogic and Identity/Access Management areas. The Lead is responsible for the daily workflow and leading the work of assigned staff. This role will mentor, coach, act as a resource and provide feedback on performance of assigned staff.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of systems design, implementation, troubleshooting, and administration within the Oracle WebLogic and Identity/Access Management areas. Lead and mentor the team members to provide tier 2 and 3 support for all Middleware and Identity/Access Management systems and services to meet or exceed service level agreements. Develop, install, maintain and monitor company databases in a high performance/high availability environment while supporting enterprise projects. Provide general design, implementation and administration to assure highest reliability and availability of Information Technology (I.T.) services. Maintain backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery environment.
Manage complex projects, engaging and updating key stakeholders, developing timelines, leads others to complete deliverables on time and ensures implementation upon approval.
Develop and support procedures for database security. Conduct database capacity planning, record archival, and storage monitoring regularly. Implement and support database software upgrade and patch management procedures.
Document database specifications, licensing, configuration and infrastructure. Develop processes, procedures and guidelines for troubleshooting database events and performing tasks.
Evaluate and seek solutions to production issues as wells as new projects. Work closely with application developers and project managers in solving production issues.
Leads the work of assigned staff; regularly assigns and checks the work of others, providing guidance, training and feedback on performance to department management. Oversees the daily office workflow, develops and recommends enhancements to process and procedures.

Experience
Required:
At least 5-7 years of extensive and broad based experience in the design, administration and support of Oracle WebLogic Server and OAM/OIM or similar products in one or more client server environments (e.g. LINUX, UNIX). Experience in consolidating and virtualizing the environments.
Minimum 3 years of lead experience.
Thorough knowledge of Java, J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Application Server platforms.
Act as Oracle Fusion Middleware subject matter expert for business leaders, end users and I.T. staff in the areas of application architecture and implementation.
Extensive experience in installation, configuration, backup and recovery of Middleware tools and technology.
Experience in upgrading the Oracle Application Server 10g R2 and R3 to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g platform.
Experience in implementing Single Sign-On solutions using Oracle Access Manager/Oracle Identity Manager or any other 3rd Party Single Sign On solutions.
Experience in reviewing application performance metrics and proactively addressing performance concerns.
Experience in resource planning / management and source control.
Experience in building and maintaining DEV, QA and PROD and Disaster Recovery environments for middleware.
Experience in troubleshooting issues and quickly resolve them in an efficient manner that minimizes downtime.

Knowledge of Oracle databases and/or Microsoft SQL Server Knowledge of Trizetto QNXT; Weblogic Server Administration.
