Job Summary

Under the supervision of Manager of Learning Technology and Processes, the Learning Management System Specialist II (LMS) is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the SAP SuccessFactors LMS. The LMS Specialist II ensures seamless system functionality, user access, data accuracy, and integration with related platforms, and serves as a resource and point of contact for systems issues, technical troubleshooting, and user support while partnering with instructional and operations teams to ensure the LMS supports organizational goals.

 

This position is responsible for defining system requirements, configuration, updates, maintenance and auditing.  The LMS Specialist II coordinates the implementation and/or integration of Learning and Development (L&D) technologies, processes, and user documentation on LMS, integrated systems and new features.

 

This position trains end users on systems, serves as a resource, assisting with completion of training, system capabilities and trouble shoots issues that arise with business stakeholders.

 

Responsible for data entry, LMS ad hoc/monthly/periodic/metric reports for internal and external stakeholders, i.e. State and Federal agencies.  Provides analysis and guidance to key stakeholders.

Duties

Act as a liaison between L&D Leaders, HR administrators and HR business owners by opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve L&D business unit satisfaction with the HR Success Factors education module. Act as a conduit between internal stakeholders.

 

Configure, test, and update the LMS platform.  Elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify and manage the requirements for all L&D projects, enhancements, permissions, and issues from all stakeholders. Maintain developed functional and user acceptance test plans and scenarios. Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing by executing the testing strategy, scheduling resources and tracking test performance.

 

Create custom reports from existing databases to meet client expectations.

 

Perform data analysis to support evaluation of system defects or to develop requirements for new functionality; assist in various system troubleshooting and balancing and correction efforts including analysis, verification and validation of issues and fixes.

 

Assist end users on completing training through troubleshooting and ensure training is correctly assigned across the organization.

 

Work with business stakeholders on system capabilities and enhancements to fulfill requirements.

 

Responsible for validating data accuracy and ensuring data is reflected accurately in the system.

 

Duties Continued

Work closely with L&D Team and other departments to ensure training is received and completed in a timely manner.

 

Prepare HR monthly/quarterly and annual reports, including HR metrics. Provide analysis based on information gathered.  Prepare reports as necessary for external stakeholders, i.e. State and Federal agencies.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Education Preferred

Experience

Required:

A minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience in Learning Management Systems.

 

Preferred: 

SuccessFactors Experience.

Skills

Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

 

Ability to train and support users, as well as bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.

 

Proficient skills in Word and Excel.

 

Strong quantitative, organization and analytical skills.

 

Ability to independently meet multiple deadlines.

 

Excellent project management and time management skills.

Preferred:

Knowledge of SQL and XML.
