Job Summary

The Performance Management Coordinator II provides a broad range of coordination and operational support to the Audit Services Department. The position is mainly responsible for maintaining, monitoring and tracking reporting for Internal Audit and contracted Provider Groups and Specialty Health Plans. This includes the maintenance of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities; backup for Business Analyst tasks; monitors and tracks the reporting for timeliness and completeness. Assists with the coordination of meetings, minutes and reminders for the Senior Director and relationship building with Leadership and Leadership coordinators.

Duties

Prepares internal audit and delegate reports and tracking logs; assists in providing data to support monthly trend reports for the various Committees and Delegation Oversight Workgroups. Produces internal audit and delegation activity reports in a timely manner for use in the Committee meetings. Coordinates exchange of delegate's reports from the appropriate internal departments for use in risk ranking delegated Provider Group/Specialty Health Plan. Completes data entry into department reports and trackers and ensures data entry accuracy through review and cross-referencing. Coordinates with Business Analyst for end user testing of automated reports for the Audit Services Department. (30%)

 

Coordinates, prioritizes and executes the following task: monitors submission of internal audit and delegate reports, provides tracking alerts for late or missing information, coordinates and schedules meetings with applicable internal business units and delegates, coordinates reviews of audit documents and reports. Coordinates changes and additions to onboarding and training materials for both Internal Audit and Delegation Oversight Audit. (25%)

 

Coordinates and communicates with all internal business units and contracted participating physician groups (PPGs) via email and telephonically for tasks vital to the delegation oversight audit and internal audit functions. (20%)

 

Actively identifies and makes recommendations on areas for improvement of effectiveness and efficiencies of department functions. Coordinates the implementation of approved process improvements with guidance from managers and directors in the department.  Creates workflows, updates standard operating procedures, policies, and training materials with management input and feedback. (15%)

 

Performs other duties as assigned. (10%)

Experience

Required:

At least 1 year of experience with coordination/operation support in a health plan or health care organization.

Skills

Required:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

 

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads from different directors, and handle multiple assignments.

 

Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.

 

Ability to problem solve.

 

Must be detail-oriented, a team player, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
