Job Summary

The Stars Administrative Coordinator I (SAC) works closely with the Stars Lead and Stars Core Team supporting all activities related to Medicare Stars, QRS, Health Plan Ratings improvement strategy and implementation. The SAC works with the LAC cross-functional department leads, provider network, and the Stars Core Team to assist with all administrative aspects of Stars improvement activities including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action items. The SAC is also responsible for record and documentation maintenance, and tracking of Stars improvement initiatives. The position works with a diverse group of individuals and interact regularly with members and provider network representatives.

Duties

Tracks the Stars quality improvement initiatives and manages files and documents in the Stars SharePoint site, in coordination with the Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) site and manages Podio and SciQuest submissions. (25%)

Updates workflows and process diagramming in Visio or Microsoft Project. (15%)

Coordinates Ad Hoc meetings, Cross functional Stakeholder meeting with teams across the organization. (25%)
 
Coordinates workgroup meetings, to include, but not limited to meeting logistics, invitations, meeting reminders, agendas, handouts, and taking minutes.  Follows-up on meeting action items with the appropriate team member. (25%)

Performs other duties as assigned. (10%)

High School Diploma/or High School Equivalency Certificate

Experience

Required:
At least 0-6 months experience in a managed care, administrative support position, preferably in Quality Improvement, Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), or Stars.

At least 6 month to 1 year experience with MS Excel and MS Office Suite.

Skills

Required:
Planning and Aligning:  Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines aligned with organizational goals. Time management skills and the ability to use sound judgment and discretion. Organizational skills. Ability to coordinate Webinars as required.

Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Taking accountability for the accuracy of work performed, workflows created, and process diagramming.

 

Communication: Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional telephone etiquette, and in all forms of communication

 

Collaboration: Ability to build partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Ability and desire to be a team player and work effectively in fast paced, multi-tasked environment. Ability to recommend changes and innovation, in workflow processes, as appropriate.
